Junior English

          One of my best experiences is in third year. All of the teachers are very industrious and really doing their part. One of them is our adviser and teacher in English III, Ma'am Mildred C. Atendido. She really let us experience a lot of things and challenges that sometimes giving us second thoughts of backing-out.

          She is one of the best teachers in the school. Your life being a third year student is not complete if you will no undergo a lot of activities. Like oration, choral recitation, plays, jazz chant, and a lot more. They are really challenging and sometimes you want to just quit. But you really need to do it and after that it you just want to thank God that it was over. Experiencing those things are the best. Going up on the stage while your knees are shaking, its the best. We are lucky to experience those. Of course we will not try doing things like those if she was not here. Experiences that you can share with everyone and something to be proud of. I will also not forget the kind of happiness and the bonding that we had with each other because of this activities. You can't describe the happiness after every performances. The feeling that you made it.

          I am very thankful to my teacher. In this year you gave English a new and better look. They say that the first is always the best and I already proved that with all of this experiences that I had.

Please Accept My Apology

Dear Mom,

          I really want to say sorry to you. To all the problems that I gave to you and being the main cause of your headaches. I know that I am hardheaded and sometimes doesn't listen to you. I only do those things because of my curiosity. I hope you understand.

          I am really sorry if I disappoint you because of the things that I did. I am really sorry because of the things that I did. I am really sorry for all the troubles that I have done. I will not do those things again. I had learned my lesson.

          I am really sorry. i promise that I will not do those things again and I will be more responsible to myself and with my actions. I love you.

Special in Your Own Way

          What makes someone special? Do we need to do a very remarkable did to be considered as special? Or do we need to be a famous people to be special? These questions are hard to answer. You really need to think first if that someone is really special. We can easily say that he is special but can't explain why. But the real question is how do we define the word special?
           In Google special means better, greater, or otherwise different from what is usual. So this means we need to be different to be special? For me no. You only need to do is to show your true self and be who you are. Be confident in yourself. That what makes you special. The way you love your parents, the way you care about your friends and being kind to everyone around you are what makes you special. You don't need to be better than them or greater that everyone. Be true to yourself and everyone will like you and can consider you as special. All the things that we do with our heart can be considered as a remarkable did making it special. We are all special.
           We don't need someone to make us feel special. All we need is to have faith in ourselves that whatever we do we can make it special. When you did something that is really good to someone they will always remember you and that what makes you special.

The Best Gift from God

Dear God,

          I really want to say thank you for giving me loving and caring parents. I know that they did everything for my own sake. I know that my dad was already with you where he is safe but please continue to guide and help my mom to overcome every challenges that she faces everyday. I also promise that I will take good care of her when she grows older like the way she did to me when I was still young.I also want to fulfill all the dreams that she want me to reach. I want them to be proud of me. I really want them to be happy. This is the only thing that I can give as a return for all the sacrifices that they did. I wish a good health for her. I still want to spend more time with her. I am very thankful for having them. Lord I really owe you for giving them to me. They are the toughest persons that I've known.

          I know that soon she will also be withe you and my father but before that, I want her to feel that she was the best mother in the world and no one can ever replace her in my heart.

Regrets

          When we did something wrong or things that caused problems not just in us but also in other people, we regret for doing those things. This regrets can last for so long and some are forever. I also have a lot of regrets. I will never forget one of them.
           I was not able to show my love that much to my father when he was still alive. That is what I regret the most. I showed my love to him but not that much. There are a lot of things that I was not able to do with my father. When I was still young, my father was always busy in our store. We often play together because at the end of the day he was very exhausted because of his work. The only time that we can talk is when we eat together during lunch. But even though he was very busy everyday he was still the one that brings my lunch at the school everyday. He was very happy for me when I passed the entrance exams in CNSHS. I want to experience flying my kite with him, climbing trees and talking about girls. I really missed a lot of things. When my father died, I really felt empty. Because I am the only boy in our family, I felt like I am alone when I lose him. I hate myself of not showing him my love when he was still alive.
          Even though how hard I pray to God, he will never come back to life. I think there are a lot of things that he was not able to teach and to let me experience. If I will be only given another chance to start again I will really show my love to him every second of his life.

I'm with a Star

          Today I'm gonna meet one of big stars in Hollywood, Taylor Swift. I am a fan but not a super fan. I love her songs even it is about her ex-boyfriends. Some of her songs are really good. Now I am preparing to meet her. I should really look good. Because she is a very famous person it is up to her in where we will meet because it will be awkward if you are going to talk to a celebrity with paparazzi and reporters all over the place.

          A limousine picked me up. As the door opens I see the gorgeous Taylor Swift inside. She is wearing a sparkling dress with matching high heeled shoes. "Good evening," she greeted me as I sat down beside her. I also greeted her good evening. "I am so happy because even your busy you still here with me on a date," I said. She just smiled at me. Then we reached our destination. It is like a restaurant. We sat on a table for two. Then the waiters served our food. "You look beautiful in that sparkling dress," I said. "Oh thank you, you know I like sparkly dresses,"she said. I know she is a busy person so I think this will just last for a few minutes. We started eating. "So what are you doing now? Are you writing new songs?" I asked. "I am working on my new album,"she said. "Is it ok if I ask who's your dating because they are always asking every time you're in an interview especially on Ellen?" I asked. She laughed. "Actually except from you, nobody," she answered. "I'm sorry if I am asking personal questions," I said. She just smiled back at me.

          We almost finished our food. "So why did you want to meet me?" she asked. I am really nervous at that moment. "I just want to know you more and also I am one of your fans,"I said. "I also want to meet a kind-hearted celebrity like you," I added. "Thank you, you're so sweet." she said with a smile on her face.

I also asked that if she was not a singer today what she will be. She said she would want to be a forensic detective if she didn't have a music career. 

           I still have a lot of things to ask to her but it is time to go. I know that she is busy and it is a great opportunity to have a great date with a celebrity like her. We both stood up and leaved. "Good bye, I will write a song about you!" she said as she entered the limousine. As they go she opened the window beside her and waved at me. I also waved and shouted "Good bye, it is nice to meet you!"    

CavSci Sinners

          In hell according to Dante Alighieri have 9 circles that corresponds to different kinds of sins. The sinners that commit this particular sin will be placed in its corresponding circle in hell. Everyone commits a sin. Like the students in CNSHS. When they commit sins they have a corresponding punishment. Here are some of the acts of CavSci students that seems like sins that breaks the laws of CNSHS.

           First,everyday you need to go to school early. All schools have this kind of policy. If you failed to go to school early it will be written to your records and if you continuously do this your teacher needs talk to your parents. Another thing is that you and the other students that are late will have your own flag ceremony. What a good way to meet new friends!!!

           Second is the haircut. This is only for the boys. Male students needs to have short hair. When you can grab it especially at the back then your hair is long.

 

           Third is SHOUTING. This is a big problem in school. Our principal really hates noise and this shouting. Yes, no one likes noise. But the problem is most of the students can't shut their mouths. They are keep on talking very loud.

           Fourth are the students who steal other people's things. It is really a sin even just stealing a simple pen. When you left something in your desk especially does that are really important will be gone. Even food, they can also be stolen from you.

           Fifth are the students who cheat or also known as cheaters. All students cheat. They copy homeworks from their seatmates and they also ask what are their answers in number 2 when they are having quizzes. But the worst things that are done by this sinners are copying while having periodical exams and also putting answers on a small piece of paper and use it during exams.

           Sixth are the students who back-stab their friend, classmate, teachers and principal. Some of the students always do this. When they don't want the things that their teachers told them to do they will say something about this teacher that will soon be a rumor and will spread throughout the class and as well as in the whole year level.

           Seventh are the students who hurt their fellow students not just physical but as well as emotional. Many students can hurt each other because of anger. Also another sin is when you put someone in trouble and will make their image in school look bad.

           Eight sinners are the vandalism. Students usually break or destroy the things that are in their classrooms. From seats to lockers to windows and everything.

           Ninth sinners are the bullies. Bullying is a serious case all over the world. So when you bully someone in school, all I can say is GOOD LUCK.

           Those are only some of the sins committed by CNSHS student. You can't blame us, we are also students like those in other highschools. We are also sinners.        

          

 

English Texting

        Almost all Filipinos are using cellphones. We use this modern technologies to connect with other people. Texting is one of the best way to connect with someone far from you. You just need load and you are ready to go. People also use shortcuts on the words they type on their cellphones. It makes texting easy for them and fast as well. 

          I don't use this shortcuts and I also don't understand them. When I was still young I try to understand the text messages on my mom's inbox. I can't even understand a simple "gud am" before. When I owned my own phone I tried to learn how to use this shortcuts. I failed on doing that. Until now the words in my text messages are complete in spelling. No missing letters or something. So texting really didn't affect my English fluency. I can see the effects of this on one of my classmates. She always have misspelled words.

           I think it is better if we stop using this shortcuts. Yes it can make texting easier and faster it can also ruin our English fluency.
