ROMEO
I must indeed. That’s why I came here. Good and noble young man, don’t mess with someone who’s desperate. Get away from here and leave me.
PARIS
I refuse your request. I’m arresting you as a criminal.
ROMEO
Are you going to provoke me? Alright, let’s fight, boy!
ROMEO and PARIS fight.
PARIS
(he falls) Oh, I’ve been killed!
If you are merciful, open the tomb and lay me next to Juliet.
PARIS dies.
ROMEO
Oh my Juliet! Why did you live me alone in this cruel world.
I think I don't have a reason to live anymore. Oh, I’ll rest here forever.
I’ll forget about all the bad luck that has troubled me.
Eyes, look out for the last time! Arms, make your last embrace! And lips,
you are the doors of breath. Seal with a righteous kiss the deal I have
made with death forever.
(ROMEO kisses JULIET and takes out the poison)
Come, bitter poison, come, unsavory guide! You desperate pilot,
let’s crash this sea-weary ship into the rocks! Here’s to my love!
ROMEO going to drink the potion.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
(approaching the tomb) Romeo!
Oh no! What is this blood that stains the stony entrance of this tomb?
Why are these bloody swords lying here, abandoned by their masters?
Next to this place of peace?
Romeo! Wait! Stop!!
ROMEO didn't drink the potion.
ROMEO
Father, there is no more reason to live for. My beloved wife,
Juliet is already dead. I have to finish my life.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
No! Romeo, Juliet isn't dead. He just drank a potion that will
make her sleep and looks dead.
JULIET wakes up.
JULIET
(Juliet hugs Romeo)Oh! My Romeo, you're here you made it.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
I think it's time to go, come on I hear the watchers coming.
They all leave the tomb.
Act 5, Scene 2
FRIAR LAWRENCE
You both shall go far away from Verona and continue loving
each other in far place where you two can be safe.
ROMEO
Thanks for all the help you've done father.
JULIET
Our friendly father, we will never forget you.
ROMEO and JULIET left.
Chorus
Friar Lawrence confess to the both families on what really happened.
They listen to him and they just let him go and don't give a punishment
on what have he done. The two families then agreed to settle down the
argument between each other. After several years, they also searched
for the couple and let them live again in Verona peacefully.
THE END
That's seems a happy ending, very much different to the ending made by William Shakespeare, but hope you love it or even like it a bit.
This is just a tribute to one of the greatest writer in the world William Shakespeare.
