Semestral Break

          Semestral break is here. Every student wishes this even just for a week. A problem and work free week for them. A little amount of time to relax and escape from their school works and problems. When it is sembreak every student has a chance to enjoy their lives for a while.

          As a science student a sembreak is really a break. But this break sometimes becomes a break with work. Homeworks, projects and many requirements are given and needed to be done at the end of the semestral break. The only thing is that I still have other works to do at home. A lot of household chores that can almost occupy your day. I also wake up early everyday to start the work. Me and my sisters are in charge in the store. We divide the time to each of us so when one is in charge the other two will help mom in other works at home. Only a few hours are left to me to do my school works. We really need to help mom everyday because she cannot do all of those works alone. But it is still ok for me. I think the only thing that mom gives us as a return is we get what ever we want and ask for her. But only those which she can afford.

          A sembeak is still a huge break for me. I think the only thing I need is time management so I can do all my works for the whole day. I can still enjoy my sembreak even it is just for a week.    

Love...Love...Love

         Almost all people fall in love. Love is the reason of having marriage and other things. They say that love is a way how a person shows his care for someone. I agree with that opinion. Care always go with love. These two things are always together.
          I have been in love before. When you are in love you feel like you don't have problems and you are always happy. There is always a reason to smile even you have a lot of problems. Everything seems to be very perfect when you are in love. There are a lot of emotions that you feel when you are in love. For me love is the way how you show your care for someone. It is also my way of showing my appreciation to someone. When I love you, I appreciate you and you are important to me. I don't want something bad to happen to my love. I always want to be with my love. i don't know why I love a girl. Sometimes I don't notice that I already fell in love with someone. Maybe because I found comfort to her or she is important to me. I like a beautiful, kind, smart girl and really loves me.
          Everyone have a right to fall in love. We also have different ways on how to love a person and how we show their importance to use. It is just in the way how the two lovers will handle their relationship to last it forever.

My Teacher, My Hero

          Everyone consider their teachers as heroes. I consider my teacher as my hero. We are celebrating teachers' day yearly. On this day, we can give thanks and to appreciate what our teachers did to us. I think we can do this everyday.
          If you don't have a teacher you will not learn. Teachers always have a lot of sufferings in their field of profession. They need a lot of knowledge and patience. Sometimes our teaches sacrifices their time and everything they need to do just to make us learn something. I think the only thing that made them stay is they love what they are doing.
          We should thank our teachers and value them more. It is one of the hardest profession, I think. We should give them more importance because if we don't have our teachers we are not in this position.

The Union of the Astounding Shakespearean Masterpieces

          On a dark night, a ghost walks in the premises of the Elsinore Castle in Denmark. It was first discovered by a pair of watchmen, Barnardo and Francisco. The both of them told Horatio about the ghost. Horatio told them that it was a bad thing. He said, “The ghost is definitely something to worry about. In the high and mighty Roman Empire just before the emperor Julius Caesar was assassinated, corpses roses out of their graves and ran through the streets of Rome, speaking gibberish. There were shooting stars and blood mixed in the morning dew and threatening signs from the sun’s face. The moon which controls the tides were so eclipsed it almost went completely out”. The ghost then appeared to Horatio which proves everything. He told it to Hamlet. Hamlet then walks to see it his own eyes. That ghost was look like his father. When he saw the ghost, it speaks to him. The ghost told him that he was murdered by none other than Claudius.
Prince Hamlet then devotes himself to avenge for his father. But then because of his thoughtful nature, he delays his revenge entering to a deep melancholy and apparent craziness. 
Polonius, the lord of chamberlain, suggests that Hamlet maybe obsessed to his one and only daughter Ophelia. That time also is the departure of the son of Polonius, which is Laertes. Laetes is going to France to study.
When Laertes went to France, Italy where he met the couples from Messina named Hero and Claudio, and, Beatrice and Benedick. They were newly-wed couple. Laertes noticed how Benedick mocks Beatrice. They were like children.
Laertes is having a good time with the two couples when a messenger went to him and told him that his sister and father had died.
Due to his anger he went back to Denmark. He blamed Hamlet for the death of his father and sister. Laertes agreed then in the plan of Claudius and has a battle with Hamlet. Unfortunately Laertes died the same with Claudius, Gertrude and Hamlet. OnlyHoratio live and told the tragedy of Hamlet to the Prince of Norway, Fontribas.
Prince Fontribas returned to Norway with the story. But too much concentration of Norway to Denmark they haven’t notice the army of Scotland which is led by Thane of Glamis, Macbeth.
The Scotland army defeated the Norway. Macbeth returned to Scotland together with his friend Banquo. In their way home they met three witches. This witches told them about a prophecy. 
When the three witches are done with their task with Macbeth, they flew away. One of the three witches is the godess of witchcraft, Hecate. Hecate went to Athens to watch the marriage of three couples here. It was the wedding of Theseus to Hippolyta, Lysander to Hermia and Demetrius to Helena. 
In the wedding there was the king of fairies Oberon. After the wedding, Oberon went straight to a strange island where he had to go to meet a sorcerer. This sorcerer was named Prospero. He asked Oberon to spill some secrets of how he could make a tempest.
When Oberon thought him, Prospero used it to make a tempest that could make a ship to wreck in the sea. That ship contains the king of Naples, Alonso and his son, Ferdinand. 
But Prospero doesn’t know that there were two ships sailing on that sea. The other ship contains the family of Egeon. Egeon with his wife Emilia and his twin (both named Antipholus) were separated. One of the Antipholus grew up in Ephesus and the other one grew up in Syracuse.
Antipholus of Syracuse became a traveler. He travels all over the world just to find his twin brother. One time when he is traveling he stopped in the place of Verona. There he found the statue of Romeo Montague and Juliet Montague. This tragic love story is about two people who were unlucky of their households.
After some traveling Antipholus of Syracuse then found his long lost brother which is living in the Ephesus. Antipholus of Syracuse found her love with the sister of her sister-in-law, Luciana. 
Now then the family lives together and they lived happily ever after.

Foul is Fair, Fair is Foul

          In this world, nothing will always go on your own path. Sometimes when we always be good to other we are like fooled. Some will grab the opportunity to take the advantage of our kindness to them. We cannot stop them from doing it.

          It is a line from one of Shakespeare's novels. We cannot be always kind to other because they will just think that we are foolish. We should also not take advantage to this kindness. We should also not expect others to do what you did to them. There is someone that will always make you a fool and they will not stop until you noticed it already.

          For me, we should limit being fair to everyone. I mean just limit not to stop.   

A Midsummer Night's Dream

          For me, the climax of the "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is when everyone got confused because of the potion. That part is when Puck the Robin Good fellow accidentally used the magic potion to Lysander. He thought that Lysander is the one his master is talking about. Lysander then fell in-love with Hermia. Demetrius and Lysander fought for the love of Hermia. Because of this, Puck immediately planned to stop it.

He casted darkness all over the forest. This made the two stop there fight and take a nap. Puck removed the potion on Lysander's eyelids to bring everything back to normal.

          It is the climax for me because at this point almost everything changed and became messed up. It made the story a little bit confusing. It is still good. I like the way the story became complicated.

When We Forgive, Do We also Forget?

          When someone did something wrong and we didn't like it they will immediately say sorry. Sometimes people just forget the sins that someone did to them. We also easily forgive someone depending on the kind of sin he did to you.

          I also experienced this kind of situation. A friend of mine did something to me that I really didn't like and after a few days we are now ok. I think this only works when someone knows how to control his own pride. Some people think that feeling sorry for what they did shows weakness. For me, it is not like that because feeling sorry for what you've done is just like admitting your sin. It is also not easy to forget things right away. I have another experience like this. It happened a year ago. I did something that made her really mad and cry. I am really sorry for what I have done to her. I already ask for her forgiveness but we often talk. Our friendship got broken and I hope she forgive me. 

          Forgetting worst things that happened  to our lives are just like a part of moving on. I think everyone will feel good if they know to their selves that they don't have any problem with someone or someone have a problem to them. There is nothing wrong in forgiving. When we forgive we also forget. 

Good in Academics or Being an Athlete?

          Many people say that you cannot find someone or a thing that naturally contains both good characteristics. There is always something that lacks, maybe in the appearance, attitude and many more. Sometimes there are chances that both or all the characteristics are obtained by someone. Like in students, some are very excelled in academics but not an athlete and some are athletes but not that good in their academics.

          To be honest, I am not that athletic. I only know few sports to play like badminton and table tennis. I am not that good in those sports. I am also an average student. I don't obtain very high grades like my classmates does. The advantage of an athletic student is that they can continue being a player. This can help them to be more popular and this is also be an addition for there academic performances. They can also represent the school in different sport activities. Being an academically inclined student also have a lot of advantages. They can gain high grades through there performances in there classrooms. They can also represent the school in different contests in the country or in other countries. Being only an academically inclined student is not good. Every student should stay fit and active. Also, being only good in sports can make a student forget and to not pay attention on there studies. I think a student should practice doing it both but keep it in balance. I think I fall in the more inclined in academics than being an athlete.

          Every student is different. It will be better if they can be good in both things. But if they know where they are really good, I think they should concentrate in that thing.      

A Prayer to our Savior

Oh, our great mighty Lord above all we praise you
You are the most powerful among everyone.
Please keep us all under your love that is so true,
Throughout the day that we will spend until it's done.

We all thank you because we are safe and alive,
Please continue to guide us all to a safe place.
Thank you for all the help and blessings that arrived,
Making everyone connect and bind like a lace.

Please continue to help those who are in trouble,
Don't let them suffer and undergo more hardships.
Always give enough food to eat in there tables,
Please be with them especially who are in grief.

And then he say he get ashame to me either in school or in his family and then asking you to exercise you’re very very, very fat body. But you hate it. Thought you’re the most preetiest girls he knows about. What do you think you are “ Beautiful Girl” of Jose Mari Chan?

Even you are beautiful face ( to your think) you do not have the right to called me whatsoever or else difference name one time or the other for the real purposed to insults my personality because I’m never call you names either in the front of Dennis or in the backs of Dennis, but if you start already to calling me different name, I don’t have any other choice but to call you other different name to. Like you are a PIG, FAT, OBESSED, OVERWIGHT, AND UGLY SHAPE girl. Shame to you’re body that is to a BUDING.

          We hear most of the people speaking in English in this way. Sometimes, I also speak in this way. Few Filipinos can speak clearly and fluently in English.

          The letter above is the revised version. I hope the corrections that I made are all correct. I also admit to myself  that I am not good in speaking in English. There are a lot of errors in the letter. I think for a person that doesn't have any knowledge in English can write this kind of letter. I am also surprised in the content and the grammar of the letter.

Informal Blog

          Usually informal themes are written in notebooks, but now it is in a form of blogging. This is a new experience for all of us. It is easy and convenient to use. Because of this blogging can be use for educational purposes.

          At first I don't know what blog is. I just did my account when we need it. Actually this is my sister's account. We encounter some trouble in making my own account and because I need it right away she just lend her account to me. I just change the name of the account as well as the URL. I found blogging easy and its just like your are writing in an informal theme notebook. The only difference is it is type written. I always prefer on type written outputs because for me my hand writings are bad. I have a lot of time to think what I am going to publish. I am doing it alone in my room without any distraction. I can also visit my Facebook account when I am doing my blog. 

          For me blogging is very use full. I learned that not all sites are just for fun or for yourself but it can also be used for educational purposes like this. Technology was used properly in this kinds of requirements.   

Reaching my Goals

          All people have goals in life. We all want to be successful someday. Maybe some of us already reached their goals. I also have my goals in life. I will do my best to reach those goals.

          My very first goal in life is to finish my studies. All students dream of this, to graduate. I want to make my mother be proud of me. I want to have a nice job where I can save enough money for my needs. I will also help my mother and give her needs when she grows older. When those things are done, I want to go to other country.

          I want to find a better work in other country. But I will not spend my life time there. I a;ways dream of experiencing snow and cold temperature during winter. I also like to spend my vacation with my family there.

          I want to be a successful man someday. I will be rich and help other people. But I just want to have the right amount of money. I don't want to become very rich. I think I still have more goals but I think this is enough for now.

          We all have goals that we want to reach. Some of us want to reach it but they can't because of lack of knowledge, needs and many more. We are lucky because we can reach our goals and when we already reached it don't forget to say thank you to those who helped.   

To be or Not to Be: What are you going to choose?

          A life of a student is full of work, hardships, and most of it are all about suffering. This is what all students think about studying. Sometimes I also think in this way. A lot of homework, hard quizzes, very long lectures that are needed to be read and a lot of things to memorize, those are all the things that a student hates and making their life as a student horrible.

          To be or not to be, in a class it is just like, do you want to do it or you don't want to do it. Some of us are just forced to do something even we don't want. The only thing that is on our minds is "kailangan ba talaga natin toh? Di naman tayo mag-gaganto paglaki ah". We are not thinking that there are other aspects in our life that are enhanced because of this topics or activities. Another thought that makes some students to not do what are required for them to do are, "Matagal pa naman yan ipapasa eh, di ko muna gagawin" and "Wag mo na yan gawin wala naman daw si Ma'am". Those are the lines that are used by most of the students as an alibi for not doing the things that are suppose to be done. Honestly, I am also convinced by those lines and when the date of submission comes I cram on doing those tasks but mostly I don't fail in passing those requirements. Another factor are computer games, Facebook, Twitter and other stuff that we more want to do than those things. It is still much better to fill that your done with all the things that you need to do and you don't need to be worry on when will those things are going to be pass and watch your other classmates cram and don't know what to do because they didn't do it.

          The key here is self-control, because if you can control the tempt on doing those things that can destruct you, you can finish what you need to do. It is still your decision on what to follow or to do. Are you going to listen to them or do what is right? It is still in our hands to be or not to be. 

                 

Tensed and Nervous

This is what I always feel
For me it is a big deal.
I cannot concentrate properly
Because my heart beats rapidly.

Every morning and every period of English
I some times wish that I can vanish.
As every word is written in the board,
I always ask a help from the Lord.

There are times that it is easy,
And a long activity keeps us busy.
Having a wrong answer in the O.P.
Really makes me feel guilty.

Some are tricky
But if you can understand it properly
You can answer it even your not that lucky
Just take it easy and seriously.

I am now enjoying  this subject,
And I will never ignore it.
But I still getting tensed
That makes me lose my common sense.

Need some help? Ask your Computer

          Almost all of us use computers, at home, in school, at your office, everywhere they are needed. This computers help us everyday. Machines like this make our work easy. Students can find answers easily with the aid of computer. We can communicate with our love ones that are far with just one click. Cellphones are not just use for communication, it is also use for surfing the net, for games and other stuff that can make us happy and away from being bored in our free time. Technology is really helpful, but it became dangerous or harmful to us if we do not use it properly.

          As seen in the collage below, an image of a person made up of different computer parts. Some of us can't live without computers or gadgets. For me it is really helpful, without this gadgets I cannot do all this kinds of things, like playing online games, using social networking sites and make my assignments easier. In my studies, computers really help. With this computer, I can find answers for my questions, find topics that are not included in the book, and keep in touch with my classmates and batch mates. The only disadvantage is that I am not 100 percent sure that the answers that I can gather from the internet are real and correct. Because some people who also use internet can change some data that can be change and can distribute wrong or incomplete data. 

          Computers are really helpful and useful. The are great creations of mankind. Because of this technologies some of use suffer as well as our nature. But the choice is in our hand, if we want to use it to help ourselves our use it to harm others and letting them suffer.

Romeo and Juliet: A Shakespearean Masterpiece

Act 5, Scene 3

ROMEO
I must indeed. That’s why I came here. Good and noble young man, don’t mess with someone who’s desperate. Get away from here and leave me. 

PARIS
I refuse your request. I’m arresting you as a criminal.

ROMEO
Are you going to provoke me? Alright, let’s fight, boy!

ROMEO and PARIS fight.

PARIS

(he falls) Oh, I’ve been killed!

If you are merciful, open the tomb and lay me next to Juliet.

PARIS dies.

ROMEO

Oh my Juliet! Why did you live me alone in this cruel world. 

I think I don't have a reason to live anymore.  Oh, I’ll rest here forever.

Father, there is no more reason to live for. My beloved wife,

Juliet is already dead. I have to finish my life.

FRIAR LAWRENCE

No! Romeo, Juliet isn't dead. He just drank a potion that will

make her sleep and looks dead.

I think it's time to go, come on I hear the watchers coming.

Friar Lawrence confess to the both families on what really happened.

 They listen to him and they just let him go and don't give a punishment

on what have he done. The two families then agreed to settle down the 

argument between each other. After several years, they also searched

 for the couple and let them live again in Verona peacefully.

THE END

That's seems a happy ending, very much different to the ending made by William Shakespeare, but hope you love it or even like it a bit.

This is just a tribute to one of the greatest writer in the world William Shakespeare.

Am I supposed to call it 'Happy Fathers' Day'?

                    During fathers' day we  thank our fathers for their love and sacrifices that they did for our family. Our father is one of the best person, dad or even a man for us. They are always there for us. They can protect the whole family in danger. He will do anything to sustain the needs of his family. Our fathers are really amazing. I really love my father. But I think this fathers' day will be sad for all of us in the family. This is the first fathers' day that we will spend without him. I will never forget him. All of the times that we are together are considered as a treasure for me.

                    The worst and the saddest thing that happened to our family is when my father died. It is just like the end of everything. Just like an ending of a chapter on a book, where there is a new beginning and new life after such a situation. When he's still alive for me, he is the best father in the world. I still remember all the things that he did for us. Let me tell you the story of his life. He didn't finish his studies. He is just a waiter in Puerto Asul and there he met my mom. When my mom got pregnant, they both resigned in there jobs. He came from a poor family so he is good at household chores. When we are still young we are trained by our dad to do this kind of things. We just get our income from our bakery. My dad knows how to bake breads. Because we are the one who only have a bakery in our place, our business is really at its highest. He is very hardworking. Mom and Dad will sleep late at night just to finish making breads that are going to be sell early in the morning. He is doing this just to support our studies. He died because of cancer. He became bed rest for almost a couple of months. He died on September 19, 2012.  His dream is to see all of us finish our studies and have a better life and future. The saddest thing here is that he died without reaching his dream. We promise our selves that we will finish our studies and make our family proud. I will also never forget his loyalty to my mom. He never hurt my mom physically and emotionally. My dad loves my mom very much. He is quiet and doesn't share most of the stories of his life to me. We are not that close but we have some time for bonding. The thing that I will never forget is we both go to a particular barber shop and there we both have our hair cut. That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff  is the stuff I remember the most. 

                    Maybe this year's Fathers' day will not be as happy as before. I really miss my dad very much. I learned a lesson in life that you should always let the people around you fill your love and appreciation in them because no one knows how long you will be together with that person. So wherever my dad is now I just want to say that I really love him and I miss him very much.                            

Hero of my Life

                 When we say hero, the first thing that comes in our minds are the ones who has supernatural powers and save people from danger. Some of us treat other people heroes even they doesn't have powers like in the comics that were reading and in T.V.  shows that were watching. I also have my own hero. Even though she doesn't have supernatural powers, she still keep us away from danger. I really love my hero. I think nothing is better than her and no one can love me the way she do. Yes, my hero of my life is my mother.

                      When my father died, it was just last year, my mom was the only one left to take care of us. I know its hard for her. Being alone to support our needs is not easy. The problem is that we doesn't know where we can get a right income for our needs. Because our business of owning a bakery is gone, my mom  is now owning a small store, a sari-sari store. She wakes up early every in the morning to open our store. During the afternoon, she sells food for lunch. Our store is near an elementary school, so the teachers, that are also her friends, eats here as well as the students that studies in that elementary school. Even she fells pain and other problems concerning her health because of tiredness and less sleep, she still have time to cook us breakfast in the morning and dinner in the night. During weekends, we help her in the household chores because she can't do it during weekdays and also to give her time to rest. She is doing everything she can just to support our studies. Shes always saying to us that her only dream is to see all of us graduate in collage and have a good life. Our other relatives also help my mom. I adore her because shes a very strong woman. She still seems to look fine even problems arise. I want her to be proud of me so all her sufferings and hardships will be all worth it. Shes always their for me every time that I need her. She also help me to over come the problems that i face everyday.

                          I really love her. Shes amazing and i really treat her as my own hero. Even if shes just a simple person in the eyes of  other people she still my hero. I promise that I will make her dreams into reality. Even she doesn't have powers like a super hero she can still protect us from danger. I will never be tired and stop saying thank you and I love you on her. No one can beats her. You, who is the hero of your life?
